I have been following the Indian Premier League and its been a lot of fun. Then I came across the fact that the Bangalore team has cheerleaders from the Washington Redskins and the article above in the NY Times. The best part - Hindi for “cheerleader” might be “utsaah-pradarshak naari” — “a woman who displays enthusiasm”.
