Walk Down Memory Lane
As some of you know I lived in Cyprus (an island in the Mediterranean Sea) from 1995 to 1999. I attended the fantastic Eastern Mediterranean University and left in July 1999 with my undergraduate degree.
Today I spoke with one of my friends from those years who happens to be visiting family in the Philadelphia area. We have been in contact occasionally over the years and today is the first time that we actually spoke at length. We remenisced about the days on campus and the various friends and so on.
It dawned upon me that next year it will be exactly 10 years since I graduated from EMU and left the island - in a way that makes me feel old and question what has been achieved since. I guess that can be debated at length :) but for now I feel a trip to Cyprus in the summer of 2009 is probably a good idea. I am going to recruit some friends to join in and make it a fun trip. Let me know if anyone wants a guided tour……
